About Pranath
A tiny story about when I was tiny
Meet the 8 year old Pranath

I was 8 years old when my parents were looking to admit me in a boarding school. I had no idea what was to come. My father and my only sibling, my sister went to around 12 different schools over a couple months and had catalogs of all schools in front of me and asked me where I want to go. Now, what will a 8 year old choose? My parents shortlisted 3 catalogs and I chose a school 5 hours away, in a place nicknamed "Scotland of India".

Coorg Public School(COPS). Wake up bell at 5:45 am. Morning assemblies. Lights off before 10 pm. 2-day holidays every 45 days. No phones. Weekly letters to parents. One candy, once in 2 weeks. One hour of games everyday. 15 minutes of meditation. Sports events all year, cross country - my favorite. Cultural celebrations. Class bullies - I was the shortest. Annual Day - skits. performances. Kisses from my mother every time she picked up and dropped. House groups in schools and weekly competitions. School level sports, Zonal level participation. 3 trophies. 2 Medals. Countless memories.
The school disciplined me in every aspect possible. From making beds to standing on your toes. At the end of my first year, my parents came to pick me up and while exiting the building, they ask me if I want to continue studying there, with a teary eye - I said yes.
17 years later, I have come a long way. I know I have miles to go before I sleep, but I wish I could get stuck in the lovely dark woods. I wish I never grew up. They are all wishes at last.

the Data Analyst

A sports enthusiast. A self-learned business oriented Data Analyst.
I used to assist my parents with our finance business since a very young age. Moving to a army level disciplined school, with two years enrolled in the National Cadet Corps (India) and a Scout, I have loved to explore the wilderness and be disciplined in everything I do.
A graduate degree in Information Science Engineering, India and a Master of Science in Business Analytics in Stockton, California, I grew from having 3 arrears in my first semester in my bachelors to having a near perfect grade in my Masters.
Corporate world has been ever kind. While doing my Undergraduate degree, I have played several roles for some extra money not knowing how it helped me get where I am. A coding tutor to children below 14 across the globe from South Africa to UAE to Bangladesh.
I helped an EdTech Company with corporate relations across a city from renown establishments.
A small-scale business gifting venture with 3 other friends. A well structured, planned in perfection to compete with existing established competitors. Our X factor was products that stood out from everybody else.

Sports, I love. Water Polo. Fan Analytics. Surveyed around 400 game attendees with different sets of questionnaire to understand the reasons fans attend and improve the areas where necessary.

Finally, Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps. Never did I dream that I would ever work in this city. A data analyst in a Personal injury Law firm. The person I am today was delicately shaped 2 years ago when I came to the United States to this university in the middle of nowhere. University of the Pacific. It has defined every professional aspect of my short career so far. They have been my friends, my role models, the most ideal working environment. Like the next story you read, I wish I was stuck in these woods, but I know I have miles to go before I sleep.
